A long time ago, at the beginning of the world, birds didn't have feathers. Instead, they had two legs and two hands. One day, a parrot saw a ripened mango on the top of a tree; it was unable to reach it but wanted to eat it. Because of that, it was sad; then, a powerful god appeared in front of the parrot and asked the reason for its sadness.

"Oh, my dear don't worry! I could make two feathers for you out of your hands. So you could fly to the Mango," said the god.

"Oh god, your are so nice, thank you for helping me" replied the parrot. "But you have to agree on one condition; I cannot redo what I did. In other words, you will not have hands any longer" the god warned.

Since the parrot want the mango very badly, it said, "It's totally fine. I do not need hands if I could fly."

Then the god created feathers out of its hands. The parrot was excited and flew to the mango. It wanted to take the mango by hand, but unfortunately, it did not have hand by then. The parrot was full of grief. It cried again and again, but the god did not come back to give its hand back. Till then parrots only have feathers not hands.

Here is a small story; I am not here to explain the gods or creation. I am not going to convince you to believe the story; I only want to show the lesson out of this story.

You see, poor parrot had two hands, and it could do so many activities by hands. Then, instead of hands, God gave feathers to the parrot. By using feathers, parrot could fly to mango (wherever it wants) It do not need to worry about predators on land because they could not catch the parrot. It could fly the sky and examine the dangers so that it could scape and find a safer place; it could see where its food is. There are so many benefits of feathers. Instead of seeing advntagers, the parrot focused on the disadvantages of losing its hands. The parrot had two choices, it could reflect on the disadvantages of losing its hand and cry and worry, or it could see the advantages of feathers and enjoy the life. The parrot chose the first one.

Similarly, You see in life, in your life, when you lose something, you will gain something else. Choice is yours, you could reflect on what you lose and worry, or you could see the benefit of what you gain and enjoy.

You cannot gain anything without losing. Examine the nature, trees are beautiful it full with flowers. It is welcoming bees, butterflies, and others creatures. It made the sound of the garden. But without losing flowers it cannot bare fruts. To bear fruits, trees must lose flowers. There is no way to have both flowers and fruits. It is the nature, either flowers or fruits.

Similarly, when one door is closed, there will open other door.  If you waste your time on focusing on the closing door, you may not see the opened doors. You will lose that opportunities. It does not say, you should not try on opening the closed door, but it says you should not spend too much time on it. When you realize you lost it, instead of greaf, you must see what you get. You must believe, if you lose something you get something new.

This theory could be applied everywhere. You could lose anything or anyone. It could be dear to you, near to you; however, now it is gone. No point of worrying on it. Now you have to choose what you should do. You have to focus on what you get. Then, you can be happy. The key to the happiness is with yours. It is not belongs to someone else.
